One of the most popular plans people choose for their gazebo is the round design. You see round gazebos in the park, in gardens, at churches, and in many different types of backyards and landscaping. Most of the gazebos are open at the side with beautiful columns and a steeple roof as a covering. When you’re looking at round gazebo plans it’s a good idea to compare a couple of plans so that you can get a better idea of the size, measurements, and structure of the gazebo. It’s like window shopping before you buy.

You can find round gazebo plans for adding on to your patio or pool deck, or just for building the gazebo by itself. Round gazebo plans can be found for free at your local library, websites online, from books and magazines, at your local home improvement store, or from an architectural firm. Of course, if you do decided to have custom designs drawn up for your round gazebo, you should expect to pay a higher price.

Round gazebo plans will come with a complete list of all the materials that you will need in order to build your gazebo. The list will give you a breakdown of the exact measurements and lengths of the wood that you will need, it also tells you the amount of screws, nuts, bolts, and nails that will be needed. You do have several options for building your gazebo with your plan, you can buy all the parts and pieces of the gazebo yourself, buy a gazebo kit that supplies you with all the pieces and the plan, or purchase the plan and/or kit and higher someone else to put your round gazebo together.

While building your gazebo yourself can give you a sense of accomplishment, even if you’re a handy, if you don’t have the extra time to devote to your project, your best option is to either buy a round gazebo kit or hire someone to build it for you.

Be sure to measure the area where you are going to put your round gazebo before you order your plans, this will give you a better idea of what type of plans you should be looking for. If your area is small, you don’t want to crowd it with an oversized gazebo. Big is not always better, just as if you have a large area you don’t want to get a gazebo that is too small and will look lost in a sea of green.

Your overall goal should be to create a pleasant place that you can enjoy and make lasting memories.
