Have you been thinking about adding a gazebo to your landscaping one of these years, but have been putting it off because you’re just not sure you want to fork out the extra money. When you purchase a gazebo kit, your kit should come complete with all the parts necessary to put your gazebo together. The kit also comes with gazebo plans and step-by-step instructions for assembly.

The parts that are included in the gazebo kit are posts, frames, walls, roof skeleton, shingles, screws, nuts, bolts, and any other accessories that you will need. The only thing that you need to supply is the tools that you will use to put the gazebo together with.

Gazebo kits and parts are available in many different types of materials such as PVC vinyl, wood, aluminum, iron, pine, cedar, bamboo, and American redwood. Of the woods used for making gazebos, pine is found to be the softest and will turn yellow with age. Cedar is a very solid wood and turns gray-brown with age. American redwood is the hardest of the three woods and will be the darkest of the woods used for making gazebos.

You start by erecting the posts to the lower portion of the gazebo frame first, next come the walls, followed by the upper half of the frame; the roof skeleton is next, followed by the shingles if there are any, last but not least any moldings and adornments such as a weathervane or cupolas.

If you all read have a gazebo in your backyard and need to find replacement parts, there are many different places that you can look. You can find parts online, at your local home improvement store, gazebo specialty stores, or directly from the manufacturer.
